Everyday Winter Make Up Look: 2019 edit
x Hard Candy palette in Birthday Suitx Tarte Rain Forest of the Sea Vol III
Eyes | I thought this palette was very blah and I’m a neutral palette lover. But the more I used it, the more I fell in love with it. It’s not boring, it’s a banger. My favorite is the brown shade in the middle. When you wear it on your lid, it looks like a true light brown, but as it wears gradually throughout the day, it turns into the prettiest rosy pink. I love it. I use the grey ones for a smoky look if I want to, or just to set my brows. I use the darker brown for the outer lower v. And the white -blanc looking ones, I use for the lower brow bone. The brush that this comes with is actually really good. It doesn’t prick my eyes when I use it and I love it.
Base | I’m having a tough time with my base because I’m not sure which product hides my dry patch the most. I have one on my upper right cheek. Not sure what happened, but I feel like even if I use primer or moisturizer it seems to still be noticeable if you look up close. The only solution I have is using a sunscreen base. I use Murad. And I’ve been switching between my Wet n Wild BB cushion in Buff Beige and Soap and Glory’s Kick Ass All Day Wear Foundation in No.4. I don’t use any setting powder. If I wanted to, I would use my Suppin Club Powder.
I should probably use a face mask to help with the dry patch beforehand, but I noticed that my skin looks better without applying any foundation or base product. So if you have a similar problem to mine, I’d say just go foundation-less for this look.
Cheeks | I use the Tarte Rain Forest of the Sea Vol III palette. I won it from Space Case’s giveaway on Youtube! It’s too light for me to use as an eyeshadow, but it’s perfect as a cool-tone highlighter! I love this formula. It lasts all day. And the way these pop is stunning. My favorite ones are: escape, rays, and compass. I also used a bronzer from Too Faced. It’s the Chocolate Soleil one in their 2019 holiday collection from Let It Snow, Girl. I use the rose gold mermaid dome brush for the bronze and I use my pinky to swipe the highlighter on the arch on top of my brown bone and also for the cheekbones. I used LA Girl's matte blush and used Wet n Wild's giant soft fluffy brush from their 2019 Holiday collection.
Lips | I use Jill Stuart’s Baroque Rose from their Eternal Couture collection as a moisturizing lip tint. I always get hungry after putting on make up, so a tint is ideal for me as an every day wear.

I’ve been using a fawn/gold combo all year for eyeshadow looks. This one is just a variation of those two colors except they’re leaning more towards a cool and neutral vibe. Perfect for how quiet and majestic aura that winter exudes. I hope you enjoyed this look c: ! The middle photograph for the promo pic is dedicated to my two bunnies: Chubby and Gigi. I was running errands last night and the car window started to get misty so I decided to doodle on them before heading home.

Oh my gosh that head band! So cute. Really loving this look you've put together and I love that you have clearly highlighted the products used! It's good to see visuals as well. I don't have a favourite winter pallet as such but anything golden, brown or silver are my go to shades.

I don’t think I’d be a fan of the hard candy palette, it’s not really my cup of tea but the tarte palette looks gorgeous!
