Hey everyone. Summer’s here. I was blessed enough to be able to visit my family in California. It’s been five years since I last saw them. Now that Covid is gone, we were able to spend time together. We went to lots of places. I think I was able to see more Los Angeles and San Diego than I did last time I visited. I saw Little Tokyo. It was such a cute place. All the girls and boys I saw were so fashionable. My teenage self would have been fangirling so hard. A lot of my little cousins are still in school, so I didn’t feel comfortable posting a lot of pictures of them here. We do have a group chat on Facebook so that’s where most of our pictures are gonna stay.

I did learn that the pink cherry blossoms in the Japanese Friendship Garden bloom around March. So that would be a good time to come back again. I wish they had more hydrangeas since it’s a summer bloom. I only saw one near the giant Buddha statue. At the Griffith Observatory there was a little bit of a hike from where we got dropped off in and so did the Japanese Garden when we were descending. I brought the wrong shoes as always. But I survived!

My favorite part is the museum. My cousin took lots of photos of me. It was so fun. I met the Agnus Dei painting in real life. It was so cool. I know the real one is in Madrid but it was also a part of the Museum of Art of San Diego. We got a free admission because it was a Thursday.
