AOA Haul | Miss A | Part I & II

Finally caved in and bought AOA. I like it because it sounds like the Kpop girl group I used to listen to “Ace of Angels” and I wanted to buy the pink Paw paw brushes to help puppies everywhere; o ; First impression is that the pink secure packaging they use is super cute on super on point. I think their headquarters is in Dallas because I know they have a big store there for sure. I kept thinking they were from California just like Colourpop. 

The photos of the paw paw brushes looked like lighter pink online, but when they came in they look more like a mauve-y pink. Not too let down. But I was really looking forward to the light pink matching my ‘Maison Clementine’ baskets on my vanity. 

Some stuff kind of arrive damaged? Hmm, that’s not really the word. In one of the coin bracelets, I got the glue came off. But it doesn’t look bad. If anything, it added more to the design. I could probably just get super glue to fix it. 

Everything else looked really nice. I think they accidentally gave me an extra set of earrings. I wish I could return it, but it’s so small, I don’t really know exactly how to ship it back. Or I accidentally ordered 2 and didn’t double-check. 

A couple of miss items for me were the rings. They only came in size 18 and they weren’t adjustable. They only fit my thumbs; o; I think one single shadow stick was supposed to be Drama but on the site, it said ‘Dama’ as well as on the product. And the shadow sticks had a bottom part that kept coming off every time I removed the plastic. All, except ginger. So that’ something to keep in mind when making a purchase. Could just be my set that’s the problem. One of the kabuki brush duos has a weird part of the brush that’s oddly sticking out. It’s weirdly shaped, I should say. Those are the only complaints I have. I do consider how everything is $1 so I’m not being harsh about. Just something I’ve noted while unboxing. All the other stuff is pretty good. Also, I haven’t swatched anything yet, but for first impressions, I’m impressed so far.

My favorite items that I got were the heart barrette and the pink fluffy coin purse. I just love the whole pink and gold aesthetic. 

A little tip for navigating their site: If you’re trying to shoot for the $35 free shipping and you’re adding stuff to your wish list, just hit “add everything to cart” and then remove stuff you’re not so sure about during the check out process. Because I did it the hard way. Where I would add stuff individually, and it would continually refresh on top of the page. So slow. So annoying. And that was my fault.
