I don’t wanna tell you the total D: It’s embarrassing. I feel like I should get a husband. So every time I come home, I’ll at least feel guilty every time I go shopping trying to hide it before he gets home lol :D

I tried to get the $10 coupon off because I heard you could do that, but I don’t know if that’s only for digital copies or Game Stop membership perks. Can’t believe the game is more expensive than Let’s Go Pikachu.

Pretty sure game is only $60 but it must be the tax that it made it go up.

I only spend $50 or more once a year when it comes to video games. Horror indie games that infrequently aren’t as costly. It’s always around $5 to $10. What pisses me off is that Nintendo doesn’t count hard copies as Nintendo Points. They do but they are less than if you ordered it digitally, which is so stupid. Why would I buy two copies of the same game?

My favorite part of stopping by my nearest Game Stop (didn’t know I had one in a 2-mile radius) is the Gachapon. The only one I was interested in was the Sailor Moon one. It felt like the universe was listening to me. Because I’ve been thinking about getting a silhouette brocade to go with my chokers or at least a keychain for one of my wallets and ho and behold, Game Stop answered my prayers!

I felt super lucky during the Pokemon Sword and Shield release because I did not get a single repeat in any of my 3 attempts.

I got: Two Sailor Moon and one Tuxedo Mask.

Gonna try and go back for Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus but I don’t wanna tempt fate. Cross your fingers I don’t get Sailor Neptune or Sailor Jupiter because I don’t really fancy them that much.

Hopefully, I don’t get so frustrated that I hit the Gachapon machine. Wish they had a Rilakkuma or Pikachu machine but there were already other Pokemon merch floating around the store so I kind of understand why they didn’t have one.

The twisting the knob and waiting for the surprise was such a fun experience for me. Because every time we went to the grocery store, my parents would never let me buy anything from the Gumball machine. No matter how much I begged.

So that was the first time that I experienced using a Gumball machine. As an adult. lol.

Parents were only like that because money was not something we could afford to spend on luxury items. It taught me not to want things. For a long time. I’m a bit worried, it’s biting me in the butt because as I reached my 20’s that’s when I made most of the impulse purchases to make up for lost time lol. I’m definitely more cautious now though. I don’t feel good when I drain money from my account. I get the same rush as I do shopping when I see my savings go up.

Anyway, on to the last item. I needed a cartridge for my games because I don’t like trying to find cartridge in my room. That was painful. So I thought why not go get it with a case with my favorite character, Pikachu.

I like the grey, yellow, and black color scheme. It’s sturdy and slim enough not to damage the joysticks. A little bulky but that just means more protection. Glad, I didn’t have to get this online, and that was a lot of stock available in store.
