I originally gave this a 3 out of 5. But I'm Texan and I'm biased so I bumped it to a 4 out of 5. I loved the Saturnian parts of this book where he talks about running out of time and also when he personifies grace. I think those two leitmotif is what made me stop and pause every time I finished a section of the book. There are some parts, I didn't quite agree with or couldn't understand fully, but I liked the intent behind it. My favorite poems were: Birmingham and Outskirts. I picked this up while I was in Austin last December and I finally finished it in between working and studying.
Have you read this by Matthew McConaughey? Are you going to pick up the audiobook later like me? Let me know your thoughts? Thanks for reading. Take care xx !
