Hey again, sharks. I’m going on a bit of a break. So, I’m not sure if I’ll see you in December. My beloved pet, Gigi died two days after I got back from New York. She’s a mini rex and they only live up to 5 to 8 years. She was six years old. We buried her in the garden with Chubby and Bubbles. Her rabbit sculpture should come in tomorrow morning. I just ordered it this morning. I’m kind of out of sorts. I might see you during winter break. Sometimes, people dive in head first with creative projects to cope with their grief. But I always use isolation as a way to process my feelings. So it’ll be a surprise if I stop by here to blog. I was originally thinking of doing Blogmas or an Advent Calendar post with the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary beauty products. But I just don’t have the heart to do it right now. I’ll try to get the New York post up after this post. It’s already posted on my Instagram. I’ve put it under the NY highlights. So, if you’re curious to see it, my handle is @dazedmari. I am also going to reach out to my friend Molly from @TransatlanticNotes to see if she has any ad space available while I go on another hiatus, so that my online presence isn’t completely diminished.
