Space Con San Antonio 2026 | I Met Hayden Christensen | Darth Vader| Vader Meets Vader |

6/15/2026

I met Darth Vader!!! I can't believe I'm inside this timeline where I met the iconic and the illustrious Vader!!! I'm still in my pinch me moment. Hayden was so wonderful and kind. He made me feel at ease. He made me feel comfortable and I think that's one of the reasons why my convention photo turned out so great. Like I couldn't believe it when I picked up my photo from the print shop. I thought it was perfect. I was shocked. Usually, I'd nitpick or kinda get down about like one detail not turning out well  as I hoped, but this photo is my favorite convention photo I've had of me so far! Shout out to the photographer too for including my descending dragon with a halo tattoo on my thigh!

This is also the first convention I've had that's just a small gathering with not a lot of guest stars, so it was very calming and less chaotic. And it is the shortest wait time I've had. Within less than an hour of arriving, I've  had my photo taken and I didn't have to worry about retouching make up, or fixing my hair or taking restroom breaks, losing my spot in line, or doing a lot of shopping to past the time.

I tried meeting Hayden two years ago, but it was my very first convention and it turned out  I didn't buy the right tickets even though I had bought VIP passes. Anyway, I think this was kairos. I was meant to meet Hayden this summer because I think that's when I needed it the most. I will never question divine timing again.

My outfit and make up look is inspired by my grey angel kitten Vader (who went to  sleep peacefully in my arms three years go) with the grey-lilac eyeshadows, the Grand Inquisitor (Hello, stripes!), and of course Vader himself with the black dramatic choker necklace (no pun intended!) and red lip tint. I was just borrowing moods and memories from my ghost kitten and favorite characters of the franchise. Bonus: twin tails were inspired by Twileks. I chose pink for the dress and silk tabi shoes  for Anakin, because I think he was a soft romantic underneath all that Vader armor. The dragon tattoo also represents Vader. The blue ribbons for my nails are echoes for past Jedi ties. And that's my outfit analysis. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk!

If you want to know individual products I used, I recently reviewed most of them on here for the newest beauty summer products I've been trying. They are also on my Threads account and my handle there is @saintvaderxx . Ask me which one you'd like me to create a highlight post, and I'll do my best to publish it here if you are curious about it.

I felt so light after leaving the convention. I took a photo of my photo with Hayden in the car while snacking on my double chocolate chip cookies for the road trip to Austin haha. It's so hard to capture it because of the glossy sheet protector, but I'm so glad it captured how happy I felt after meeting Hayden.

I'm so glad Hayden takes the time to have a conversation with his fans during the photo op. I couldn't afford to buy an autograph ticket because I just came back from France and I could only afford the general admission ticket for one day, and the photo ops session.

I was shy stepping up and I was anxious about messing things up when it was my turn. But Hayden was so nice. He asked me how I was. He shook my hand. And I shook his hand with my right hand where I'm wearing my purple Amethyst ring mixed with Vader's ashes. He waited patiently for me to respond (I said "How are you?" after a million years later) (Because my mind was on buffer mode - I just kept repeating myself - I can't believe this is real!!!), and then when it was time to go Hayden said "Take care!" when I was already walking away (because I do not want to get yelled at again at a convention), and for real this time, I was in full zombie mode and fully dissociating because all my brain processed was "Vader is talking to me. He said something. OH, OH, say something back" and I said "You too!" but in like the smallest whisper. I don't even know if Hayden heard me. I'm so glad he was so chill and still smiled at me even though I was awkward as hell. First time being starstruck, folks. Anyway, I quickly walked to the new volunteer near the exit, because I'm not overstaying and I didn't want to bother Hayden, please don't call security. The volunteers were so sweet and didn't rush me and just guided me towards the exit so gently.

For the past couple of weeks, I've felt like giving up so hearing the words "Take care!" means a lot to me. And it just reinvigorated me to study harder, worked harder on my new projects, and overall monitor my health a lot better.

And the feeling of giddiness and lightness was the exact same as when I met Palpatine in Space Con 2025. Speaking of Palpatine, I cannot believe I was in the same coordinate as him again from months ago. This was truly the best convention I've ever been to!

My favorite core memory of my grey kitten Vader is when he would cross his paws like a gentleman every time we’d watch Kenobi together four years ago. And his cute little ears would perk up every time He’d see Hayden on screen or when someone would mention Vader. He’d always give the cutest confused face as if to say “Who said that? Who said my name?” And then he’d roll his green eyes at you lol. I miss him so much

Hopefully, I can catch Tem  this year too. I'm tracking Boba Fett appearances for the rest of the year. And it would be so heaven-sent if they do a group photo op with Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, and Temeura Morrison. My three favorite villains from Star Wars. And I will do my best not to forget to bring mini Funko Pops during the photo ops session because that's been a bad habit of mine.

And hopefully, by the next convention, I can have Hayden sign my Black, Red, and White Marvel comics once I save up enough money for the autograph session! I'm dreaming of future Convention Daze and I can't wait.

Oh and I might be late in doing a round up post of my Austin post, but after the rainstorm, there was this huge arch of a rainbow on our way home and it felt like Vader saying hey to me from the rainbow bridge. Best symbol I've had to decode this summer!
