Eye | You could also use whichever palette you want. I recommend Milani’s Soft & Sultry or Colourpop’s Smoke show palette to bring out your Noir vixen self out :3 I love Detective movies so it’s a pleasure to be able to dedicate a makeup tutorial for it. If you’ve been around for a while in my blog, then you know that when I go for shimmer in the lower lids I always use my pinky instead of a brush. If you want a more foiled, metallic, crumbly gold texture look, then I suggest trying Makeup Revolution’s Velvet Rose palette and try the chunky gold glitter there. It’s the only one there and it’s #2 if you check the backside of the palette.

For mascara, I used Maybelline’s Snapscara in Pitch Black

Base | You can use whatever you usually use for your base products. I haven’t been using any foundation or CC cream lately. I think it’s the cold winter weather that’s making me super lazy in the morning. So what I would do is grab the Murad Essential C sunscreen. Pat that all over. And then just grab a smidge of BB cream on the center of my face. I do that by applying my BB cushion and using only my tall finger to press down in the middle to pick up the product. And I don’t even need to set anything because the colder air seems to preserve the makeup just fine.

Cheeks | Essence Satin blush in coral. You may use whatever brush you like. I’m showing you the one I’m using which is a copper mermaid brush I got off of Amazon.

Lips | Can’t go wrong with nudes when doing a smoky eye. Ofc, you can use a red lip if you’d like, but I don’t have any at hand. The only red lipstick I have I think is expired and so I’m off to grab another one from the Disney x Colourpop collaboration launch. Using the brand Hikari in the color Romance.

And that’s all I have for you today, tonight, or whenever you’re reading this :3

P.S. I’ll try to go all out next time with the hair, nails, and outfit. It was already a struggle taking a selfie because I haven’t taken a selfie in so long I actually forgot how to be in front of the camera. But I wanted to get this up.

Take care,
