I’m sorry if the prices I’ve put up here aren’t accurate but they are the sale prices when I purchased them. I promised myself I wasn’t going to do another haul until next year, but they’ve been slashing prices left and right and also doubling my membership points, so I thought I should snag these while I could. Favorite items got a heart (♡). I might do an in-depth review for the Soap and Glory foundation more later on because it’s hovering between being an HG to a need to toss or just finish it up kind of product. I think the problem is that this foundation probably doesn’t do well if you use moisturizer and primer underneath. Because at the end of the day, it kind of gives me texture I never thought I had. It passes off as freckles and doesn’t really make the overall base look bad, so I need further testing before I can give you a verdict. I will say that it is such a nice part of my beauty routine because the consistency feels super, super nice. Unlike any other foundation, I’ve tried even from high-end foundation selections.

Wet n Wild Ombre blush is a miss for me. Hardly shows up on my skin. Actually, I’m thinking of using it as a setting powder. The mermaid highlight was also a disappointment. I was hoping it would be more of a white highlighter, but it reads more as green gold on my skin. I look really good in cool-tone highlighters but not with a warm highlighter so this was sadly a miss.

My favorite item from this whole haul is China Glaze is Pearl Jammin.’ It looks exactly like it does in the bottle. A beautiful baby blue with hints of rose gold. I hate it when other products try to pass off as holographic by just adding red or green or lilac glitter in the mix. And then you go, oh yeah I guess it’s holographic since there is a little bit of a shift. But this nail polish delivers. I don’t have to imagine for it to work, it actually looks like it does in the photos online, the bottle from the outside, and the formula is astounding. I love nail polishes that self-levels and just cover the curves or sides of your nails without making so much of a mess. I feel like it’s up there with the formula for Mojito Madness which is the only Essie nail polish I’ve ever liked.

Color story-wise, it evokes so many memories and recollection from favorite art I’ve consumed before. Every time I wear this polish, it reminds me of that snow that glitters in Anastasia when she sings that number ‘Journey to the Past’ before she reaches St. Petersburg. Another film it makes me think of is Anna Karenina (2012). And I just like it so much every time I hold something whether that’s my gaming console or my Fire Kindle while I read.

This nail polish is the best winter polish, I’ve ever purchased. Usually, I’d stick with plain white or gold glitter for winter, but those are like safe colors for the holidays. This nail polish is fun and classic at the same time and that’s why it’s so close and dear to my heart.

I know I look like a mess doing so many beauty hauls consecutively. I am slowly trying to branch out to more intangible content, because I know it isn’t healthy to buy stuff all the time nor is it necessary to create great content. Please just be patient with me as I make the transition from doing hauls to reviews, theories, and life coaching sort of direction for future content.

Hauls won’t go completely away (it is what got me started into blogging), I just want them to be more infrequent in the future :)
