I decided to give Nailtopia a try after I saw how their packaging reminds me of how vintage nail polish used to look like. I also like how the glass has some sort of special engraving to it. I liked the details of it so I decided to give them a try. I didn’t have any particular color in mind, but they were doing a sale in Ulta for a trio (Candy Cane set) at $11 (Originally $19) and I thought “Why not? It’s December and it’s my birthday month.” I don’t think I had to wait too to get my hands on these, even though I did order them during a holiday rush during the middle of December. They all arrived fine and none of them were broken.

My favorite out of this whole haul is the raspberry hydration treatment. I’m so sad I can’t say the same for the pomegranate one. And I usually like berry scents. I have yet to swatch any of the nail polish. But I did get to try the base products, and I have to say that they are very lovely. I can’t wait to see the results after weeks of trying it. For now, I’m pretty happy with how they make my nails feel strong and supported. Especially during winter, because that is when my nails become brittle and are prone to breaking.

I got five times the point than normal, so I thought having a winter splurge wasn’t too bad of a deal. And I also got to use some of my reward points too, so that helped a lot in helping me try this new brand on my radar.
