Hey everyone. How are you? I hope you are doing okay in this hot summer day. I tried to upload the videos on my main blog, but I just had a hard time uploading it. I’ll convert it to gifs later whenever I can, but for now you can tune in on my public Insta and it’ll be under the ‘Travel’ highlights. I’ll also make a main post so that it will show up in the widget below. Also please forgive the flares in some of the night shots. I don’t know why my camera decided to act up in Europe.

Paris was a lot of fun. The Seine River was so pretty at night. I didn’t go to go to a lot of the museums or Versailles, but hopefully I will get to do do all those things in my second trip to Europe. I also didn’t get to see the little stalls, because they were closed at night and the next day was Bastille Day, so most of the shops were closed. My aunt from Bordeaux told us to get a sketch of us three cousins together, but I guess we’ll have to do that next time we’re in Paris.

Benjamin (my cousin’s bf) was so funny. When we were inside the boat, Tosca, he said the loud people in the back of the boat are probably Americans. So shadyyy lol. There was a lot of laughter and we finished a bottle of champagne so we had to get another one. We got back home at around 2 AM after the fireworks show, because the subway was gonna close soon. It was so packed and we thought we were gonna have to walk back home to the hotel.

I went with my aunt to Brueguelle shopping district (I’ll have to check the receipt 🧾 if I spelled that right), because I wanted to get her a luxury present before she goes back home. We ended up getting matching necklaces at Zadig et Voltaire. She got the silver wing one and I got the one with black wings.

I am very grateful for Emon driving us around. He coordinated everything and there’s always a fun surprise we ever we went. I also owe him 1 Euro, because I didn’t know you had to pay to use the restroom at the mall o _ o; My first subway ride was super scary but our cousin helped us so that we didn’t get lost in the underground subway and also at the train station.

Ume is the first Shiba 🐕 Inu that I’ve ever interacted with! She is the sweetest and prettiest girl! I love her. She will be all grown up by the time I see her again. She is only four months old now. Everyone we met while we were walking wanted to stop by and pet her.

I like the title of this post. It reminds me of Anastasia and her grandmother. And it warms my heart every time I think about my separation from Vader.
