Hello There, Snoopy | Happy 75th Anniversary!

 

Heyyyyy. I can’t believe I’ve been blogging consistently for the past two months. I’m usually on a hiatus. How the fuck did I find the time to do anything creative? I guess I was just in a « I will scribe soon » mode. 

SATURNIAN PLAN(S):  ✦ ✦ ✦ 

• Publish two beauty reviews (I miss doing them; We did Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary x Wet n Wild last year)
• Book a hotel for San Antonio during Space Con weekend | Oct 24 & 25
• I haven’t even bought the entrance ticket yet | I don’t wanna do VIP again because I felt like it wasn’t worth the three grand | I’ll try to book it tomorrow morning maybe at 4 AM
• Mama Bear doesn’t wanna come because she would rather go shopping in the River Walk area 
• Prepare my aunt’s gift card & card for her birthday present 
• Go to my aunt’s birthday party in SeaFood City | Oct 26 
• I couldn’t publish a « Vader meets Vader » post last year because the tickets were sold out for Haydensen, but I’m hoping I could get a hold of Palpatine this year 
• Plan a Crafting Day, Dollar Tree hunting, and Pickle Ball match with my aunts and extended cousins | We said we’d do it soon but we’re all either sick or busy with work that we weren’t able to do so for the last two months | Also, I need a venting session in regards to work | We might do November | Girls only 
• If I don’t get to book a convention ticket successfully, I’m still gonna do a mini getaway in San Antonio; Because I need to get away from this city and my health is actually intact this year, so I’ll finally hopefully be able to walk the River Walk without coughing my lungs out 
• Space Con Outfit: Brown Pirouette Skirt and Brown Corset Top; Darth Vader Imperial Jersey; Cloud sandals (because I’m aging lol); Brown checkered ribbon; red checkered nails with cherries 

SATURNIAN TO DO LIST: ✦ ✦ ✦ 

• Pack for a short weekend getaway | I hate packing | I wish I had a butler 
• Try to plan my work outfits the night before | But I hate it | I get compliments at work and I just honestly say « It’s whatever came out of the dryer » That’s the coordinate for the day
• Brush my hair  regularly because I hate cleaning the shower drain after I shower o: It’s so gross and it’s my own hair 
• Do a countdown until Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break; I’m not ready to turn 33 but it’s whatever; my bones are aching for rest 
• Book my exam on Oct 29th | It’s my Jacob’s birthday and then I’ll celebrate with the Common Bond gift card he got me in May 
• Finish the two mandated mini reviews (I hate paying the subscription ; o ; ) tomorrow | Sunday 
• Say « hi » to Ian McDiarmid | Actually you know what, scratch that part, because the last time I talked to a celebrity; it kinda went sideways lol; I’ll just ask for the Emperor x Chi fu autograph photo pose during the photo session; And this is if I can get a hold of a Star Wars ticket this time; I only found out about Palpatine being in Space Con 2025 two weeks ago; I usually book things two months in advance; I don’t know if I’ll be able to get my hands on a ticket one week before 
• Annoy Richard if he’s back in Space Con 2025 | I love annoying him c: | Just kidding; I don’t know if he’s coming back this year; I don’t think it’s confirmed that he’s making an appearance; there was just a rumor that he’d be there 
• If I do see Palpatine, then expect a  new post called « Vader greets the Emperor » | I’ve been bringing Vader (amethyst ring with ashes) to work nearly every day and it helps me channel my authoritative voice lol; And now all my co-workers are scared of me; My ex co-workers used to call me gangster/mafia boss as my nickname because they didn’t know just how terrifying I can get 
• I took a photo the other day of my abs, but now it’s gone; I don’t know what happened to it o: If I ever have to take my clothes off in front of someone, and they ask where it is, I’m gonna tell them to look harder o: 
• Text back my co-workers ; o ; Honestly the two of them are honestly the best for checking in on me every morning and these girls aren’t even from my own department but I feel so supported
• Rest whenever I can; Because why the fuck am I turning into a workaholic coming in at 6:30 in the morning and leaving at 6:30 at night o: 
• Not watch Dracula (2025) anytime soon because I don’t wanna cry
• Re-watch Ballerina (From the world of John Wick) (2025) because it’s my new comfort movie 
• Recenter 
• Continue to bond with my new mentor; she’s so awesome; I love hanging out in her office after work
• Remember Professor Avery’s deal breaker love advice; I thought that the nine month passing (rebirth) and realizations were enough but it isn’t; I hate Professor Avery so much right now, but I respect what he’s trying to say; Feelings shift all the time; I can’t expect things to stay the same, one year later, even if the ghosts are gone; The other party can leave and change their mind and I’ll have to respect it because sometimes respect is even better than love. Saturn says so. 
• Rebuild myself all the time; Not even Saturn can break me 
• Try not to get annoyed at Sisyphus tasks ahead 
• Setting up the new plush store (next to the sticker store) with iridescent cloud shelves is probably gonna be the most exciting part of the week; If anyone asks me what I do for fun, I’m gonna tell them it’s overworking and analyzing data over the weekend 
• Maybe order some more « Montefalcon » merch from my trusted vendor lady because if you can’t tell, I’m obsessed with my Grandpa Atanacio’s last name; I’m gonna change my last name legally soon as soon as I get my Master’s degree and my Doctorate’s degree 
• Wait for spring semester to start because that’s when I can start looking at online classes so that my promotions will just line up nicely 
• Speaking of promotions, sadly, they didn’t collapse my unit lol; but at least I know who the snakes are when they’re backs are against the wall and for that I am eternally grateful 
• Take a sabbath year next year lol; I just want to be an online professor; That’s the whole point of this
• Check up on Uncle Guillaume if he’s staying healthy and doing lots of walking because he has a heart condition; I left him flowers from Venus et Fleur to protect him from spiders; Sometimes it takes 20 years for spiders to strike; They love the theatricality of train stations and could care less if someone just got run over and had to go to the ER after a car accident; Venus will watch over him as she does with France 
• Give Magnum MacGyver more Duck Liver treats; He’s a mean grandpa! He doesn’t wanna share with his grandkids! He acts like the godfather and does a silent chomping motion whenever they come near his treats to assert his dominance. Where does he get it from? Oh wait, I’m his mother. 
• Containing chaos is apparently my entire being and not just my job description lol
• No longer feel vilified for being accused of being a villain after I couldn’t pour anymore from an empty cup; I established boundaries - there was nothing fucking wrong with me 
• And as for those who violated the law of Xenia, Saturn’s about to play 
• Lock in??? 
• Continue to place paper clips as talismans on my two work desks; I have a grey duct tape on the other and paper clips near my pink mouse lol
• Try out Unove hair oil 
• Make a reel for the Peanuts x Profusion (Snoopy) collab 
• Don’t have Gatsby moment where I stare blankly as my world falls apart but I can already feel it coming ; o ; 
• This feels like Saturn’s final test 
• I guess Richard is my good grief
