Here is my review, no one asked for :) Whoever came up with the scene with Tatiana and Eve inside the maze deserves a lap dance and the biggest, juiciest kiss on the forehead. I've replayed that part so many times that I'm embarrassed to say how many times I've done it. My brain liked that sequence so much, it felt like somebody kissed my brain. It was probably not intentional to have sapphic overtones (but the title says 'ballerina,' so how can it not?), but I enjoyed the female friendship part on screen as well. I don't know why, upon the second time watching the movie, I started thinking of Richard. Maybe I should go volunteer for a lobotomy. Because why is this man invading my brain? The maze scene felt like Richard as Hermes guiding me out of the Chancellor's maze. And the ending, where Eve was watching Tatiana perform, felt like me watching Richard as a performer.
This review will not make sense to outsiders. It's a good thing, I don't write for an audience. I only write for me.
P.S. I loved the little Mandalorian echo with Ella and Pine; It was so cute.
