Hey guys. It’s a hot afternoon in my city. Hotter than hot, actually. I hope you guys are having a good time even though it’s a scorcher out there. I’m back with another review. Actually there’s gonna be a whole slew of reviews and hauls coming up soon. I’m going to get the PR stuff out of the way, then the hauls, and then we can do a catch up post.

Back in the past, I always made a disclaimer about transparency. That is still the same, to this day. But I just recently realized a bias I wasn’t aware of. So you know how you go around Costco (back in the pre-pandemic days), and you always get free stuff to sample? You don’t go as hard with your mini review or rating because you got the sample for free. So you’re always like “I’m not sure if I like it or not.” I didn’t connect it until now to people when they get stuff for PR; I realized that they do tend to be a little bias when they get any free stuff in the mail. So, when I get free products for future campaigns, I will still provide honest reviews, and I will also let you know any unknown bias that I may have in current and future reviews.

There’s never any issues with Bzzagent for me when it comes to honest reviews. In fact, they continually sought out my review by sending me emails of constant reminders to post my reviews after enough time has passed to review the product they sent. Even when I sent a one-star rating in one of the items I got in 2021, it’s never affected the new items they sent me afterwards, regardless of my low-rating. They’re so nice to work with. I always get an invite for future campaigns even when I leave a less than stellar review on the stuff I was able to get my hands on (full-sized products), and the only reason why I don’t get some of the items I signed up for is because it’s a until supplies last sort of thing. I never have to pay for shipping. I just get an email that it’s on the way.

So now that that long-winded intro is out of the way, I would like to talk to you about Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Gel Cream. I’m just gonna cut to the core of this review and give you my final rating after testing this skincare for about a month. It’s a 2/5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ rating for me. I’m really sorry if this is your favorite skincare of all time, but it just didn’t work out for me. Testing the claims against the result is what’s lead me to this conclusion. This product just doesn’t work for my dehydrated skin. I was hoping to use it on the parts of my skin that is oily like my forehead and chin, but it only increased the redness for me and gave me weird, big protruding lumps on my forehead. Those only went away after I discontinued using the product. It helped a little with the small textures on my forehead (you know those breakouts that stay as baby breakouts and don’t fully become acne, yeah those) but it gave me even more problems that I had to stop using it. I really don’t like it when a skincare has a “purge process” involved in it. I just can’t deal with those. I’ll stick to my regular toners and occasional masks to sooth any irritations even if takes a couple of days to get it back to normal, than have a “purging crisis” in my hand and then it’s gonna make me spiral into buying more skincare to get rid of the problems which will start the whole vicious cycle of purchasing more skincare than I can use up before it expires.
