Violet KPOP Store | Come Kawaii Shopping with Me! | Rilakkuma, Pompompurin, and More! | Small Haul

7/27/2022

Hello there. Are we all having fun in 116 degree weather? No, just me and my cursed state? Yeah. There’s some rain happening this week though, where I live, so that’s exciting. It’s looking a little stormy right now which is perfect if you’re into summerween. So, today I have an old post that I meant to post around April. I don’t know why it always takes so long to get posts up for my blog, compared to other platforms, but I know that once it’s finished, it’s always more satisfying to publish than other fast-paced platforms like reels on YouTube, Tiktok, or the good ole gram lol. Nothing beats that feeling of publishing stuff on your main blog.

I only picked up three items from this store. But for my wallet it definitely feels like a hundred items. I think my grand total game out to about $38, but that still feels like a lot of money, especially with these triple gras prices going on. I didn’t plan on stopping by here, I just saw it on my way to Miss A. I’ll link that post after I finish typing up stuff for that. I think this one is going first.

The PomPomPurin pen is really good. It’s really nice, and dark, a gel-like. I thought it was gonna be one of those the pen is more on the cute than functional side, but this one wrote so smooth and it felt like an expensive pen. I think this one was around $17 which was great because I think I picked up a Ghibli pen from Kinokuniya about three years ago, and while the pen was so dang cute, it was also dried up. So it was more for the novelty of it rather than me being able to actually use it.

The pencil case was also awesome. I’ve been into drawing on my sketchbooks again, because I think digital drawing isn’t working out to well for me lol. My Apple Pencil is currently dead (no matter how many times I charged it) and I still haven’t bought that matte silicon screen cover thingy that makes it feel like you’re drawing on paper, so we’re back to using traditional art, which to be honest, I much prefer. This Rilakkuma pencil case was yellow and so cheerful, I just had to pick it up. Perfect for bringing my ink and not just fishing for my stuff eternally inside my tote bag.

The last thing that I got was a small Korilakkuma plush. She’s still pricey even though she’s so tiny, but I don’t regret getting her for my new desktop. My desktop decor was looking a little bare, but now it looks much better with the fuzzy purple pens, small Carebear figurines, and squishy toys all hanging around it. There’s not much decoration going on, it’s just clutter, honestly, but it makes me happy every time I see it.

I’m not one to gatekeeper locations and stuff, but if you’re curious about this location, you can always message me on any of my social medias linked below, on the right side of my blog, or at the very top with the icons on the right side as well. I just don’t think it’s safe to disclose my location, because you know, all the horror stories out there of people disappearing and stuff. Can’t be too careful out here.

Also, just because I don’t discuss news related things on my blog, it doesn’t mean that I don’t care about things. I just tend to use my Twitter to advocate for changes and give voice to the real matters at hand, because I genuinely have a hard time articulating my indignation and my overall visceral reaction to the things that have happened around May and June. I also have the most following on Twitter, so that’s where I engage in current news, and that’s also the place where I feel like people are really eloquent when it comes to giving voice for those who are too emotionally distraught to put words together during such harrowing experiences. And I just wanted you to know that the blog may seem like a shallow place for posting hauls and reviews, but I also respectfully ask that this is also a space where I take a break from the horrible things that are happening around us. I’m also not everywhere all at once on social media. It doesn’t mean I’m not aware of what’s happening.

Thanks for reading. Let me know your thoughts in either the comment section or message me on my any of my social links listed down below. I’ll see you in the next post. Take care xx.
