Hey guys. I’m back with another post. I picked up this beauty around January last year. Yes, it took three months to reach my state. I swear, we’re the last ones to get anything new. So when I saw this at Target, I had to pick it up right away during my low-buy. And also when I was still rolling in gift-cards from the holiday lol.
I would like to apologize in advance for not including a photo of Weylie in this post. I did take a photo, but I guess in my excitement I only got a very blurry photo. Which I’m not mad at, because it captured my emotion so well while I was holding the palette. I just decided not to upload it, because people might get angry for posting a blurry photo. I’m a big fan of Weylie. I’ve been there since the “Red Room” and the many girl talks.
For some reason, even though me and Weylie both have olive-undertones, the palette still read too red on me. I think it’s because Weylie is more of a warm olive as opposed to me having a cooler/neutral olive skin. But this is great progress for us lil green alien girls everywhere lol. I’m glad the industry isn’t ignoring people with varied skin tones. So, I’ve decided to use this for my eye instead. And I pull it out every time I want to do blush draping techniques or Igari looks with exaggerated blush around my temples.
I absolutely love the outer packaging. I just love how it makes me so calm by just looking at it. It was definitely one of my favorite purchases last year.
