Come Book Shopping With Me | Half-Price Haul | Winter Reads 2022

1/26/2022

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all having the loveliest of mornings. I’d like to share with you gems that I found in Half-Price bookstore while I was browsing around. I haven’t visited it in such a long time. Even during Pre-Pandemic times. It was so pleasant just walking around, surrounded by books.

I found hardcover editions of “A Series of Unfortunate Events” Book 12 “The Penultimate Peril” & Book 13 “The End.” My favorite two in the entire series. Back when I was in middle school, I would just wait for months at the library to be able to get a hold of a copy. I have the rest of the series in paper back (Remember Book Fairs?) with the exception of Book 11, “The Slippery Slope.”

Anyway, I was very happy to find that the Half-Price stickers were very easy and smooth to take off. No lingering sticky mess to be found anywhere. I also got a Japanese Light Novel, because I’ve missed reading them too. My very first light novel is Kino No Tabi. But fair warning, that book is not for the faint of heart.

I’m very excited to read “The Alchemist Who Survived Now Dreams of a Quiet City Life.” I heard it gets good around Book 4 to Book 6. So I guess, it’ll be a slow-pace kind of a novel. But I’m okay with that.

What are you reading for winter? We can talk in the comment section below! Thanks for being here! Take care xx
