When I saw this drink in one of the Starbucks Vlogs of Starbucks Employees, I immediately had to run to my nearest Target. Didn't wanna wait at an actual Starbucks Drive-thru. There's no need to drag this on: I hate this drink. I love the color. The perfect blend of lilac and grey is my favorite combination ever. Sadly, the taste is terrible. It tastes like medicine. When I took my second sip, I'm like "I guess, it's not that bad." But then I took my third sip and I was like, "Nah, I still hate it." The label on my cup said it's Pomegranate with Soy, but I know the drink is officially named Passion Tea with Soy. So, I don't know. Maybe, they're the same thing. It's very pretty though. I'm glad I've immortalized it forever in my blog. Hoping that the next pale lilac drink I try actually tastes good. For now, I'm sticking with regular Taro bubble tea. Even though, that one is more of a true lavender in color. 1/5 Stars. One star for the aesthetic. Deducted four stars for the terrible taste.

Such a pretty colored drink but sucks it didn't taste good! To be honest, I never heard of this drink but it reminds me of the time I tried the pink drink everyone loves and I hated it! It's not bad but not what I was expecting I guess. haha ♥ www.mooeyandfriends.com
ReplyDeleteHey Michelle! Aw it sucks that the pretty drinks never worked out for both of us. I haven't tried the pink drink yet, because I did hear a lot of people say that it didn't taste as good as it looked! I wonder if Starbucks will ever bring the Sakura drink as a local drink to the US. I've seen some Sakura powders on Amazon and I'm really tempted to give it a try to see if it's a pink drink that I'd like. Have you tried the Sakura drink while you were studying in Korea? Hope you're having a good weekend ♥
