Spooky Winter Glam Nails Press On Review

1/25/2022

Happy Krampus Season everyone! It continues! Do you guys have any plans for Valloween already? I’m jumping ahead and already planning my Midsommar fit lol. I really kinda wanna get away from winter hahaha. Can’t wait to wear sandals again. It’s so odd. I used to love winter as a kid, but now I’m dreaming of spring and summer.

So, I don’t think I’ll be doing a lot of make up tutorials this year. Instead, you’ll get a lot of nail polish content from me. I’ve recently been into nail varnish this past year, and I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to create a  category for it. That will be coming up soon when I get back on my desktop.

My favorite of the two polishes is the one on the left. I love the detailed wintry, cemetery scene. And I like the smoked out effect. And this shade of blue is my favorite. It’s a soft-grey blue color and it looks so sophisticated on the nails. It’s the obvious winner for me.

I also like the one on the right. The white on the ring finger is a really nice milky white. I love the jeweled topaz spider and the matte black nails as well as the sparkly spider web.

I like both of these nail sets. I got them from Walmart. It’s a part of Kiss’ 2021 Halloween Special Effects line. I couldn’t see the left set do any glow in the dark magic for me, but the one on the right did. So that was super nice. I love how they’re also both coffin shaped. My sizes are in the 9, 10, and 11s. They last about a week and a half (almost two weeks) with Nailene and the sticky patch that it comes with as a press-on nail.

The only thing I struggled with is peeling the backing for the squishy patches that act as glue. I don’t have very good luck using them on their own. So I definitely recommend using Nailene nail glue to make them last. It took several tries to get them right, but very easy once you get them off. There’s just an initial struggle because I’m not really a fake nail wearer. I just prefer regular nail polish and only use fake nails when my nail length are short at the moment.

But yeah, both of these sets were a lot of fun. I was very happy wearing them and feeling all powerful and witchy like while doing my nightly Tarot readings.

Let me know if you’ve also tried any spooky nails lately and let me know what you’re sporting right in the comment section below and we can have a chat.

  1. Ahhh! Those nails are so cute! This makes me miss nail art. I used to do It all the time when I was younger and made a design very similar to this nail set. ♥
