Hey guys! It's another post. From me, to you. This post has been sitting on my draft for about a year, I guess almost two. _ . ; I got new glasses at the end of 2020. But time has felt even more of an abstract concept once the pandemic has started. Sometimes, I post on my main Instagram just so I can verify that I'm not a random jelly blob floating through two years of insanity.
There's not much else to say other than what's in the title. I specifically chose red aviator glasses so I can feel close to my favorite comfort character, Mari from the Rebuild films of Evangelion. I know hers is more rectangular and narrower, but that doesn't really suit my face shape. So. I went for aviators.
I think the hardest part about ordering glasses online, is the measuring stuff. But I was able to follow their guide closely, and I don't have any issues with my glasses. I will say that the frame that I have feels a little bit flimsy compared to my designer glasses. I guess you get what you pay for. But that's not a deal-breaker for me. I just use my red glasses as indoor glasses, and I use my old grey Ray-Ban glasses for when I go outside.
The case is sturdy. I don't hurt my hand when I open or close it. I love the light pink lens cloth that it comes with. And I love the small packaging that it arrived in.
Have you guys tried YesGlasses? Let's chat below! I'll see you guys soon. Take care xx
