Hey guys! It’s me, Mari. I’m back with the tutorial as promised. You guys may not recognize me as I no longer have blonde hair, but that is definitely me. I was thinking of changing my default photo for the right side of the blog, but I’m still attached to my blonde identity, so I haven’t been able to fully let go of it yet. And I was 26 when I first started to blog seriously, and I happened to have blonde hair at the time when I was given the green light to be able to do creative projects, so that’s also part of the reason why the profile picture on the right side of the blog hasn’t been updated.

This tutorial is quite simple. I only used three eyeshadows. And I’ve also included photos of me without the shimmer if you are not a shimmer person. I used Dr. Jart’s CC Cream (sorry it’s not pictured) as my base as always. You can also pair up this look with grey lipstick, but I decided not to do that while I was taking photos. I was stuck just wearing sunscreen for the last six months or so because I couldn’t find any inspiration for any makeup looks to try.

And then out of nowhere, I decided to put two of my aesthetics together: pale pink + horror, and lo and behold, I remembered that “Black Swan” (2010) exists!!! So that’s what I’ve ended up wearing lately. Sometimes I would switch all three shadows depending on my mood. If I’m feeling more like Nina, I’d wear the pale pink shimmer all over the lid. If I’m feeling more like her Black Swan counterpart, I’d use the grey all over the lid. And if I’m feeling both, I bridge the two with a neutral rosy brown eyeshadow.
