I’ve decided to release this early. I’m usually late for monthly favorites. Since there is only a week left, I figured that’s not really enough time to test anything out. + Funky Fingers nail polish - Dark Matter. It looks like the perfect poisoned apple green! It’s so perfect for Fall. The quality reminds me of my favorite H&M nail polish Copper Penny! This was also opaque after 2 coats :D I was so happy!
+ Lunasol eyeshadow palette! It’s originally $70 but I got it from BonBonCosmetics and I got it for $50 instead :3 Took 2 weeks to arrive.
+ Made my first Too Faced Holiday collection purchase! I got the ‘Let it Snow, Girl!’ Bundle because it reminded me so much of those cute, layered Russian Dolls. And also picked up a Clover Makeup bag because the cute doodles were there for $20 instead of the $49 price tag for one palette. Btw, I’m so sad the Ginger Bread Man collection with the bronzer became temporarily sold out. I hate how I always struggle shopping with Too Faced ; o ; I follow them on Twitter, Ig, have them on my email to get stuff early, and yet I’m always stuck with the grey button that says ‘Sold Out’ :’( Wish I also picked up most of this stuff in Sephora so I could finally reach the VIB status, but I also haven’t ordered from Too Faced in a really long time (2015), and I super love their pink packaging. I also didn’t buy this set for the formula. Just here for the cutesy packaging

+ Giant Croconana arrived! My Hinge Match helped me name him. We came up with Tomato and nicknamed him Indiana Jones :) My Hinge match approved of the name after I told him. I love it when sends me long paragraphs, and good morning and goodnight texts. I can’t get over his beard! It’s so cute! [Edit: It’s been a while since I had this warm, fuzzy crush feeling and I really thought I was going to be happy this time around . _ . but I always mess things up] He was a Capricorn too and that must have been why I felt so at ease with him right away. And I liked his eyes a lot.
+ I talked to my ex for closure and it worked? I didn’t come over because he is in another state. Also, the ex applies generally. Because we were involved with each other at some point even though it is not official. And now that that honest discussion has taken place, the rift between us can resume. It’s funny how this happened near retrograde. Need to get me one of those retrograde protection bracelets lol.

There’s no need to do that. Every time this happens, I feel like breaking their wrist D: Oh my god, my reader probably thinks I’m so violent. I’m probably gonna cry in front of them if they even slightly raise their tone. But you know what I’m saying. Them doing that puts me in a fight me mood, and I don’t know how to fight.

+ Realizing that I’m not cut out for dating. For some reason, at the end of every date I go to, I always seem to manage to mess things up and convince the other person that I don’t like them when that simply isn’t true. I just have this really aloof and cold exterior that goes with my shy personality and I think other people read it as disinterested or rude. I’m really sorry if I come off that way. I don’t mean to. I try to extend myself and be more playful, but I also immediately withdraw and become silent. I’m very slow to open up. Sort of like a champagne bottle. All chilled on the outside, but warm on the inside and probably ready to explode lol. I should really look up more dating tips, but I just feel like I wouldn’t really be able to implement them. So I am just in No Contact right now, turned off all my messages, and just in a hermit mode where I contemplate everything. Lesson number one is to probably not schedule a date when you are super tired and booked. But even though, I was tired and there was bad timing and everything, I still wanted to see them even just for 20 minutes even if I had to drive for like an hour. That effort just doesn’t seem o be received well because of a misreading of the situation

+ Hurting someone that I liked. I cried for two days because I couldn’t believe things happened the way they did and I contributed to it the most. I used Twitter as a sounding board to make sense of something because I was confused and scared. I wanted to delete it the next morning because I probably was just overreacting / not in the right mind. I just wanted to express those thoughts and have feedback. Eternally grateful to people who jumped in. I felt like King Arthur with his round table for two seconds. It did help me see things more clearly. I didn’t agree with most of the comments, but I appreciate the protective/concerned vibes. I didn’t put that tweet to put someone on blast or hurt someone on purpose. They saw it and I really am sorry for my actions. I deeply regret it and again I am very sorry; - ; I hope my tweet didn’t cause a witch hunt. If it did, I will find you and tell you that is NOT OK and go off. I don’t think I can reach out to them at this point, because I’ve put everything on pause.
+ Me still being anxious and paranoid [PTSD]. Even after 3 years has passed from that scary incident, where a friend tried to take advantage of me at a bar when I was 23. I thought it was going to happen again. So I panicked and run away.
+ Depression episodes triggered for a couple of days as well. I felt like I was inside a dark, lonely forest with no exit. But I think I’m slowly coming back around. If I can’t repair the friendship or connection with the person I went on a date with, then we’ll always have that goodnight kiss and I wish them all the happiness in the world.
